The season you resist

Every year the Wheel passes through the same turning points, and every year you move easily through some and stall at the very same one. The tiredness that arrives right on schedule. The dream that never quite begins. None of that is a flaw in you. It is a pattern, and patterns can be read.

Eight questions, four archetypes, and a small ritual you can do tonight with what is already in your home. The last page holds your first Turning Page.

  • the dark months · Samhain to Yule

    Firekeeper

If the dark months are the season you resist, you are a Firekeeper. This is the season you struggle through with sheer willpower and tension, which means it is your medicine.

  • the brightening · Imbolc to Ostara

    Threshold Dreamer

If the brightening is the season you resist, you are a Threshold Dreamer. This is the threshold moment where you usually turn back.

  • peak light · Beltane to Midsummer

    Moonflower

If peak light is the season you resist, you are a Moonflower. These are the pages that make you flinch, so go gently and go anyway.

  • the dimming · Lammas to Mabon

    Harvest Holder

If the dimming is the season you resist, you are a Harvest Holder. This is the season you postpone.

✧   questions   ✧

Before you begin

Where do I start?

Wherever you are. Find the season the calendar is in, or the one your body is in, and begin there. The Wheel has no first page. If you are not sure, the free quiz will show you the season you resist.

Are the guides digital?

Yes. Each one is a beautifully designed PDF you can read on any screen or print at home.

Do I need to follow a particular tradition?

No. The guides draw on Celtic, Norse, and earth-based European traditions, and they are written for anyone who wants to live closer to the seasons.

What are the free companions?

Each turning has a small free gift... a worksheet, a guided journey, journal prompts, or a set of cards to print and keep. They arrive by email when you sign up.

Can I journey with you through the year?

Yes. Every month I lead a free live shamanic journey on YouTube, and the turnings shape what we explore. Come to Soul Journeys.
