Ostara

The Spring Equinox

Awakening · Fresh

Welcome to the balance of the rising year.

Ostara asks, what tender thing is ready for daylight?

From Your Guide to Ostara

The light and the dark stand equal once more, but this time the light is rising. The first blossom opens, the green floods back across the land, the whole earth wakes from its long sleep. This is Ostara. The Spring Equinox.

Ostara lives in the brightening

On the Wheel, Ostara is the deep point of the brightening... the arc that opens at Imbolc and blooms into Beltane.

If the brightening is the season you resist, you are what I call a Threshold Dreamer. This is the threshold moment where you usually turn back.
