Mabon

The Autumn Equinox

Bittersweet · Turning

Welcome to the balance point.

Mabon asks, what can I thank and still let go of?

From Your Guide to Mabon

The light and the dark stand equal. For one day the sun crosses the celestial equator and day and night are the same length the world over. This is the Autumn Equinox. The second harvest. The balance point of the descending year.

Autumn Balance

Equinox reflection · 7 pages · Free

Mabon asks a quiet question... as you carry your life into the dark months, is it in balance? This reflection is arranged like a set of scales, first what is giving you life, then what is draining it, then the small correction the season is asking for.

Your reflection arrives by email, along with my letters from the Wheel. Unsubscribe anytime.

Mabon lives in the dimming

On the Wheel, Mabon is the deep point of the dimming... the arc that opens at Lammas and carries you to the threshold of Samhain.

If the dimming is the season you resist, you are what I call a Harvest Holder. This is the season you postpone.
